Workshop Description

Students and families often feel overwhelmed when it comes to scholarships and the college process. This workshop is designed to simplify that.

Join us for a hands-on College Workshop where students will:

Build a resume starter

Create a clear scholarship plan

Start applying for scholarships

Learn how to stay organized and prepared

Families will leave with a clear, step-by-step plan they can use right away.

Why This Workshop
Stands Out

Many workshops in the Virginia/DMV area focus on general information about college and financial aid. While helpful, they often stop at explaining the process.

This workshop is different because it is action-based.

Students will not just learn—they will leave with work completed, including:

A resume starter

A personalized scholarship plan

A clear list of next steps

This gives families something they can immediately use, instead of just notes or general guidance.

This workshop provides a simple, structured path for students who may not know where to start. It helps turn confusion into a clear plan and gives students the tools to take action.
